Abstract
ABSTRACT Telekommunikasi technology is one technology that develops very quickly Telekommunikasi services will be expected to support services to transmit data in the form of voice, data, and video simultaneously therefore, of course there are many problems, one of which is the speed of cellular frequency increasingly decreased Re increasing frequency into farming or better known as one idea or idea so that the existing frequency can continue, in research used. Based on the problem, the planning of the frequency of UMTS 900 MHz to UMTS 2100 MHz erdsting network UMTS Network Design using the simulator software based on re farming with Atoll parameter observed in this research is RSCP and ghasilkan EcMo distribution. The 900 MHz frequency simulation is capable of better coverage with an average RSCP of -70dBm, whereas the 2100 MHz frequency generates an average RSCP of -110dBm. The value of Eclo for 900 frequencies yields an average EcTo value of -14dB while the 2100 MHz frequency produces an average of Eclo of 22dB. The reduction of the site number at 900MHz frequency is done with some parameters of Transmitter, and the parameter setting is oblique, so that the frequency of 900MHz decreases the number of sites to 13 stte and the previous 23 sites.
