Abstract

The transaction process for selling furniture products at Bintang Kayu Stores is currently still using the old method, namely customers buying products by visiting the store or placing orders via Whatsapp. Based on interviews conducted with Bintang Kayu Furniture owners, problems with the sales system carried out by Bintang Kayu Furniture were still carried out conventionally causing a lack of business reach that could not be expanded because the reach of buyers was limited to the surrounding area. Using the conventional method also makes buyers who want to know about Bintang Kayu Furniture products have to come to the store first to see product availability. Based on these problems, a website-based furniture sales information system was designed and built. The method used is Rapid Application Development. Information system implementation uses the JavaScript programming language with the ReactJS framework and database management, namely Firebase. Tests in this study used 2 methods, namely Black Box and SUS (System Usability Scale). The results of the Black Box website test have met the functionality requirements, and the SUS test results show a score of 70.5 or getting a grade C rating subjectively means Good or good.
