Abstract

Networks are built using many different network devices, one of which is a router. Router.is.a.tool.used.to.send.data packets between networks through a process called routing. In the market, there are many companies that produce routers,.one..of.which.is.Mikrotik.with.its.product in the form of Mikrotik RouterOS which has been widely used to handle networks. Mikrotik configuration.is.a.problem.for.some.people because even though products from Mikrotik have configuration programs based on GUI (Graphical User Interface) they still require long and confusing steps even if only to.configure,.making.it.difficult.for.users.to configure them. The use of mikrotik as a hotspot server can make it easier for network owners to manage who.can.access.their.network..In addition, the network owner can also set how long it takes for network users to connect to the internet network. By using this mikrotik router, it is expected to cut operational costs but still be good when used.
