Abstract

FTTH is a network concept using Fiber Optic cable as a light signal conductor that is sent from the central provider (Provider) to the user's area..The FTTH installation has the aim of making an area/region able to be connected to fiber optic services. The method used in this paper is direct practice to directly practice the material obtained and implemented in the field during practical work, interview method to get more information. details about the stages carried out in the FTTH installation process, and literature studies to find further information through sources on the internet. The FTTH installation process begins with a survey and tagging of the poles which later the data will be used as a reference in making the As Plan Drawing (APD) and Bill of quantities (BOQ) then proceed with the Design Review Meeting (DRM), if the DRM has been approved then proceed to the installation of poles and cables and other required equipment. At the time of implementation in the field it is very possible that changes will occur, therefore there will be a revision process later, if it has been revised and fixed then As Build Drawing (ABD) and BOQ revision are made. After all is completed, then the acceptance test process is carried out. From the results of this practical work activity there are still many location points in Cirebon that are not yet connected to fiber optic services, then the field survey process must be carried out carefully, because the results of the field survey (pole tagging and rolling ”) is very influential on the manufacture of PPE and BOQ.
