Abstract

The development of computer network technology allows the communication and data exchange in computer network to become easier, such as being capable of presenting an integrated information documentation, dynamic and being able to be converted in digital format. A lot of applications require a special management to manage the servers. Based on financial point of view, it takes the expensive cost, such as electricity, air condition, room area and the high price of server machine hardware. Virtualization is a technique of managing systems and resources functionally, by hiding the characteristics of the resources. A virtual machine (VM) is a computing resource that uses software instead of a physical computer to run programs and deploy apps. Virtual server is a server side technology about the operating system and software that support a machine with a large machine capacity for multiple virtual machine. This virtualization concept allows multiple servers to run on one machine. The main advantages from organizational or enterprise sustainability are flexibility, simplicity, server consolidation, fast recovery, and reducing administrative costs. It also allow for a better isolation system that can be used to add security system.
