Abstract

The development of tourism which continues to increase over time is able to increase Indonesia's foreign exchange earnings from the tourism sector. The development of Indonesian tourism has coincided with an increase in accommodation service providers, this has also prompted the Central Bureau of Statistics to collect various information regarding the availability of accommodation service providers as well as various characteristics of existing hotel service providers by conducting regular surveys once a year using a questionnaire which will be filled out based on information from the accommodation service provider. The author made observations at the Central Bureau of Statistics for Banyumas Regency in order to find out the annual accommodation service survey procedures conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics for Banyumas Regency in collecting data on the availability of accommodation services in Banyumas Regency. The form of observation made by the author uses descriptive qualitative methods. Observational data collection techniques used by the author are the method of interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used by the authors include data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results of observations obtained by the author explain the basics of the monthly accommodation service statistics survey (VHTL) which includes the objectives of providing an annual accommodation service survey, the legal basis for conducting an annual accommodation service statistics survey, guaranteeing the confidentiality of annual accommodation service statistics survey data, and the required documents. Annual accommodation service statistical survey procedures with listing, enumeration, editing, data entry, validation, publication flows.
