Abstract

In line with the growth and development of the number of customers and the capacity used in the backbone at PT Indonesia Comnets Plus Semarang for the construction of telecommunications networks, it is necessary to hold an increase in the POP performance of PT Indonesia Comnets Plus Semarang. This performance improvement is carried out by adding a room in storing telecommunications devices used by PT ICON + Semarang, so in this case, to improve performance in the Semarang area, the construction of a POP is needed, namely a new shelter located at the Srondol Substation. In the construction of the shelter at the Srondol substation, the licensing stages need to be carried out to the UPT Semarang PLN submitted through the IBC web application. In carrying out work at the Srondol substation, a working permit is also needed which must be submitted on the WPUITJBT application web. For the results, a new shelter will be built that is complete with racks to store telecommunication devices, cable trays, sensors used, and air conditioners as a cooler so that the temperature is maintained and the devices in the shelter are not easily damaged due to heat or other things.
