Abstract

With the development of telecommunications technology, it will be equivalent to the demand for customer needs for measurement and quality improvement in LTE network access. Improvement and measurement of LTE network quality can be measured by means of a drive test. There are several methods used during the drive test, namely the SFA (Site Functionality Acceptance) and Cluster Mobility methods. The problems found and experienced during the field work practice were the lack of maximum quality of the network around an area and the network being congested. Optimizing the network on a regular basis is a solution to overcome the above problems so as to reduce the decline in network quality. Therefore, a drive test was carried out to check parameters such as RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power), RSRQ (Reference Signal Received Quality), Upload and Download. The software used during the drive test is Nemo Handy, Nemo Outdoor. The equipment used is a laptop, cellphone, data cable, Global Positioning System (GPS). Parameter analysis carried out in this fieldwork practice was carried out in the Leuwiliang 02 Area.
