Abstract

The Orange Troop is one of the cleaners who has a very big role in cleaning up the DKI Jakarta environment. In the case study of the Orange Troops located in the Kebayoran Lama sub-district, especially the Cipulir sub-district, the absence of the involvement of the monitoring system makes objective assessment difficult. The absence of the involvement of the monitoring system makes monthly data entry time-consuming and less structured and in terms of monitoring the Orange Troops is less effective. Therefore, this research was conducted to overcome the problems that exist in the Orange Troops in the Cipulir village by designing a monitoring application called Oranger. Oranger is a website and android-based application that can assist in the administrative data input process and allows real-time tracking of the Orange Troops. The Global Positioning System (GPS) feature on smartphones makes tracking the Orange Troops easier. The development method used in this study uses Prototyping. This method is used because software developers can directly interact with users or clients during the system creation process. The system that is made is delivered as quickly as possible to respond to changes in the client's wishes. The results of this study are the Android-based Oranger application and website. The Oranger application is able to overcome problems with the Orange Troops with features such as officer attendance, job reporting, licensing applications, scheduling officer roles, selecting officers' work areas, and monitoring the Orange Troops online through a website that has been integrated by google maps, as well as based on the results. blackblox testing conducted by 5 respondents got the test results of all features "successful", meaning all features that have been made according to user or client requests. Keywords: Monitoring, android¸ Pasukan Oranye, GPS, google maps, website.
