Abstract

Technological developments are currently growing rapidly and making information spread faster. The website is one example of technological developments that are widely used by users in disseminating information or news. Website is a collection of pages that are on the World Wide Web (WWW), the dissemination of information through the website is one important means to obtain and manage information. This makes the design of the appearance of the website in the initial design of making a website something that must be done. Because, making a website display design can attract users to increase the number of website visitors. If the appearance of the website is not well designed, such as color, page shape, and typeface, then the website is said to be unattractive and users are reluctant to eat the website. With the use of the website, all information related to Schools, Villages, Tourism, and others, can be spread easily and can help promote related institutions. In the Pliken village itself, there is a lot of potential that can be disseminated through the village profile website, such as the number of residents, the size of the village, as well as the latest news in Pliken village. Therefore, a website-based village information system was created to assist the village in promoting Pliken village to the general public.
