Abstract

Network monitoring systems have been widely used in the field of information technology which aims to facilitate the process of obtaining information quickly, precisely, and easily. Bandwidth usage during peak hours and computer damage that cannot be connected to the server sometimes still cannot be controlled and cannot be monitored. In network monitoring, network administrators are requiredto be in place to carry out monitoring, but there are times when network administrators are not in place so that if there is a problem, it takes longer to find the source of the problem. The existence of a network monitoring system can makeit easier for a technician or administrator to monitor network activity. Mikrotik OSand The Dude application can be used to create a network monitoring system. Thisstudy aims to create a telegram notification that can inform the results of monitoring from The Dedu as a network monitoring application and recognize the disturbance experienced. The results obtained from this study are the successful implementation of notifications using the telegram application on the dude networkmonitoring by utilizing the Telegram Bot API. Notifications that are successfully monitored and sent are device resources, device services that are down and up. Keywords: The Dude, Notifications, Telegram
