Abstract

Registration is one of the things that patients have to do when they come to the clinic for a check-up. Currently, the rapid test registration system at the Mutiara Clinic is still performed manually. That is, by patients coming to the clinic to obtain a queue number and then registering in the registration area of a special laboratory for rapid tests, patients wait their turn to queue for quick tests. After completing the rapid test, the patient waits 10-20 minutes for the results in the form of a letter with the results of the rapid test and the data entered in the register. This method is ineffective because it creates a lack of distance between them and harms patients because they have to wait in line for too long. Data processing is still done manually by the clinic staff. Based on these questions, this research work will design a webbased rapid test registration system using the rapid application development method. The application in this study was built using a PHP programming language framework, namely the Laravel framework, and a MySQL database. This study resulted in a website-based rapid test registration application with a friendly and responsive appearance so that it is easy to use by users, namely in the registration form, checking patient data, checking registration data, and checking rapid test results. System testing with black box testing was also carried out with 37 cases that produced valid results. Keywords : Clinic, Rapid Test, Rapid Application Development and Website
