Abstract

Learning media is one of the important factors to increase students' interest and motivation in the learning process. Learning metamorphosis material that is applied to elementary schools is still conventional and not interactive. Metamorphic material requires a clearer picture of the structure of animals and the process of metamorphosis itself. Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the technologies that can be used to overcome this. In this study using a markerless AR approach, so users do not need to use markers to display objects. The application will be developed using the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation (ADDIE) method. The results of this study are an android-based metamorphosis learning media application that can display the process of insect metamorphosis without using a marker. Based on functional testing of the application using the black box testing method, the results obtained are 100% with the predicate "Very Good" or all application features can run well without any problems. In addition, usability testing was carried out using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method through a questionnaire with 93 respondents consisting of 3 teachers and 90 students in grades 4, 5, 6 SDN Waru Kidul, the results obtained an average score of 71.451 and categorized as grade C with the predicate "Good".
