Abstract

Traffic violations, traffic jams, and traffic crimes are among the challenges that the Indonesian people must face. This traffic violation may result in new problems with potentially fatal consequences. The number of traffic violations in Tegal is due to a lack of public awareness in traffic, and Tegal residents do not understand the mechanism of the E-Tilang application. This condition necessitates police intervention in the form of administrative sanctions (tickets), the implementation of which is becoming more modern as science and technology advance. This issue must be addressed by the police, particularly the Traffic Unit, who must take action against violators in order to make violators aware of the violations they have committed and to serve as a deterrent to future violators. This traffic violation action is carried out by issuing the violator with an E-Tilang. When compared to manual systems, the E-Tilang application has several advantages, including making it easier for the public to find ticket information such as court dates, vehicle numbers, and fines to be paid.
