Abstract

This study discusses the use of the internet on the Balaidesa Melung network the use and utilization of internet technology that is not limited to providing opportunities for employees and the general public to access certain website addresses or sites during working hours, causing employee and network performance to be not optimal Using Quality of Service (QoS) network performance indicators to determine internet data network services in online games and social media. There are 4 QoS parameters used namely throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter The method used in this study uses the Packet Filtering method to regulate what packets are allowed to enter or be blocked into the network system. In the tests carried out the Filtering rule is able to black ports and urls on the HTTP and HTTPS protocols properly Keywords internet QoS Packer filtering
