The height of a liquid is of particular concern, especially in an industrial process. In an industrial process, a liquid is maintained at a certain height in order to reach the volume requirements so that the production process can run well. In the process of filling or emptying the water in the tank, it is very difficult for the operator to monitor the water level in the tank. This PID control system is used to control the water level based on sensor readings. From each sensor reading, it is used for the process of draining water in the tank with a DC pump by accelerating the work process of the DC pump so that it will keep the water level in a constant condition at a certain height even though the water is discharged with a different volume. From the system, a trending graph will be displayed on Citit Scada which is added with an alarm. The results obtained indicate that the Ziegler Nichols method at 37.5% faucet opening got a good response with a time rise value of 48 s overshoot of 28%, steady state error of 0%, and time settling of 100 s. From the comparison of the two methods, namely the Ziegler Nichols and Cohen Coon methods, it can be said that the best results are using the Ziegler Nichols method with good system performance values.
