Abstract

Education in Indonesia is currently experiencing a shift in learning methods from face-to-face to online learning. This is due to the emergence of a pandemic since 2019 three years ago. All learning activities are carried out online, including the implementation of special exams for high school (SMA) and equivalent levels. At the SMA/SMK level, many students are very confused about what major or study program to take in continuing to study at the university level. Therefore, it is necessary to have an information system about the introduction of web- based majors. From this problem, a major introduction website project called Right Way was created by using reactjs technology as a frontend and golang as a backend that is able to serve the needs of users, users can also determine their interests and talents so that later they will not regret the problem of the wrong major. In the Right Way project, it functions in a user friendly manner because it is needed by the user. This is proven by the success of this website being built and running smoothly and according to user expectations. It can be concluded that the use of reactjs technology as a frontend and golang as a backend can be implemented in the creation of an online exam website to facilitate teaching and learning activities.
