Abstract

Every student faces a professional job, therefore practical work is very useful to support students' readiness to enter the world of work. In doing practical work, students are free to choose a company that can work together and requires workers, especially in the Design section. Ratih TV is a television channel owned by the government of Kebumen Regency which is under the auspices of the Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo) of Kebumen. In this practical work report, the author shares his experiences during practical work at Ratih TV Kebumen, from designing posters, following broadcasts, to editing news videos. With the results of this practical work experience, the authors conclude that practical work is very useful for students to prepare for the world of work. Practical work provides an interesting experience and knowledge that exists within the scope of the world of work.
