Abstract

In working a company, of course, has an assessment standard to maintain the quality of employees, both permanent employees and interns. Attendance is one indicator to maintain discipline. PT. Data Utama Dinamika is a private company engaged in internet services, currently has many employees and interns. One of the branches located in Cirebon, West Java still uses manual attendance using paper which is of course very inefficient. With the development of an attendance system using a web-based internship attendance application, it makes it easier for interns to be absent and prevent data manipulation and the admin can control applications outside the office, the attendance results are in the form of real-time results including incoming and outgoing hours. This application was developed using the PHP and MYSQL programming languages which can help accommodate attendance data. This application can be further developed on a mobile basis as well as the addition of a combination of presence technology such as fingerprint or face recognition.
