Abstract
Face recognition is a biometric technique that can recognize a person's identity based on their face. To get optimal results, it is necessary to test the facial recognition method to test the level of accuracy in various conditions such as at a certain distance or when using accessories such as glasses. There are quite a lot of methods in face recognition, of the many methods, which will be tested are Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH), eigenface and fisherface. And the result is that the LBPH method gets 100% accuracy when without glasses or with glasses, for eigenface 98.95% without glasses and 84.05% when wearing glasses, and fisherface 97.42% when without glasses and 98.4% when wearing glasses. All methods can recognize faces optimally at a distance of 120 cm, based on test results that show accuracy above 90% for all methods when not wearing glasses and 80% when using glasses.
