Abstract

The counseling unit is a supporting part of academic activities at IT Telkom Purwokerto, every year conducts psychological tests for new students. This test aims to diagnose the need for guidance and counseling. This test is needed to find out personality, weaknesses, and strengths so that it can help develop them if they need assistance or guidance from the counseling unit during the lecture process. The counseling unit IT Telkom Purwokerto uses the MBTI or Myers-Briggs Type Indicator instrument as a tool for psychological tests for students. The flow of psychological tests currently being carried out is by way of students filling out a test from a google form that has been prepared. Then the test results will be scored manually. Based on this flow, the problem is manual scoring which takes time. Besides that, Google Forms have several drawbacks, such as a limited design display. Therefore, it increases the work speed of implementing psychological tests, system support is needed that can replace the desired design appearance. One solution is to develop a web-based system that includes a mechanism for calculating scores. From the test results using Black Box Testing, it can be concluded that all functions designed can run well. Keywords: Website, MBTI, Black Box Testing
