Abstract

The development of information affects performance in all aspects of life. Aspects of life today are apparently influenced by technology which causes changes in rules, patterns of life, including the field of leadership throughout life, including in educational institutions. Educational institutions see positive opportunities for the development of information technology will help to develop the concept of thinking and leadership skills in leading an organization/institution. However, the extent to which the success of information systems and information technology services is able to provide a significant influence through one of the service areas, namely leadership capabilities in the field of information technology, especially at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto. Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto has a target in the form of KM (Management Contract). In the management contract there is one part that has not been realized, therefore it is necessary to conduct a study related to IT Leadership. The indicators used in this research are motivational style, directive style, and persistent style. The method to analyze using this type of quantitative research is multiple regression analysis and qualitative with the results of observations and interviews, where the object of research used is at Institut Teknologi Telkom Purwokerto. Based on the results of the final analysis of this study, the results of quantitative data analysis stated that the success of the IS/IT project on the satisfaction of the lecturers and students influenced each other, while the results of the qualitative data analysis stated that the success of the IS/IT project on the motivational style, directive style, and persistent style influenced each other.
