Abstract

The development of technology and information currently involves many fields of multimedia, namly learning media to convey information or education one of which is learning in Kindergarten. Currently, most of the learning and information of transportation equipment in Kindergarten still use books. Learning media that still uses books has reduced Kindergarten student’s reading interest because the objects displayed are less attractive. In the teaching and learning process computing technology is a solution to provide convenience for students and teachers, one of with the application of Augmented Reality ad a learning medium. Augmented Reality is a combination of the real world and the virtual world created by computers. This recognition media is made using AR with marked based tracking technology. Making this application uses Unity and Vuforia as a container for storing marker or markers. The development for this application uses the prototype method. At the testing stage using black box and system usability scale. Based on the results of the black box testing, it shows the application is running well and the system usability scale is 74,2 which can be concluded that users can use the application easily. Based on their results, it can be concluded that is also in the Excelllent category. Keywords: Means of Transportation, Augmented Reality
