Abstract
In the era of the COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus Disease-19) it has affected various fields, especially the field of psychology in knowing children's interests and talents. Children's interests and talents are parents' problems in knowing the hidden abilities of children, especially at the age of 4-6 years. The results of the interview with Mrs. Rr.Wara Setija Brawidjajani.,S.Psi, a Psychologist obtained information that interests and talents in children can be known by direct observation or direct observation of children's growth and development at home. On the other hand, during this pandemic, we have not been able to interact directly to monitor children's development. Where the results of interviews with experts can only be analyzed with testing data and training data. Therefore, the forward chaining method is used because of its compatibility with the method used by psychologists. The forward chaining method is a method that uses sustainable premises to find conclusions. Using the forward chaining method can facilitate the problems of every parent in knowing the interests and talents of children. The application of forward chaining method is applied to the expert system website. Software development on the expert system website uses the waterfall method because every step of development can be structured. The results of this study obtained an accuracy value of 91.8% using the confusion matrix method. calculation of accuracy is done by matching between system analysis and expert analysis. The functionality test using the black box testing method produces a percentage value of 100%. This testing process is carried out on every button on the website which is tested directly by clients and experts as admins.
