Abstract

In this era of information and technology is growing very rapidly and is supported by the existence of telecommunications technology that is very capable. With today's large population of Indonesia, the need for food resources such as rice is very much needed. However, on the other hand, farmers often feel a decrease in the amount of their rice yields during the harvest season caused by attacks from bird pests that often hit when the harvest season arrives. Therefore, in this study, a system was designed that can help the work of farmers who are already connected to the internet and are also integrated by the Internet of Things. In this study, the results of 4 tests were carried out as follows: the first test was a test on the voltage sensor where the average difference in the voltage parameter value was 0.33V with an average error value of 2.83%, for testing the difference in the average value the current parameter is 0.20A and the difference in the average power value is 1.90W. In the second test, namely relay testing, the average value of the voltage when the relay is on is 11.62V and the average current value is 1.81A with the relay on condition at a distance of 5-15 meters but there are several times the relay does not function properly at a distance 15 meters. In the third test, namely testing the LM2596 module, the average value is 3.84V and the average difference is 1.41V. and in the last test, namely the battery, the average value of noload voltage is 12.36V and the average value of voltage with load is 12.07V and the average value of the difference is 0.3V.
