Abstract

Heart rate and body temperature are the main things in human survival. The heart is a vital organ and is the last line of defense for life, and body temperature is the balance between the production and expenditure of heat from the body, measured in units of heat. With the rapid development of technology, it is hoped to improve aspects of human life, one of which is the online monitoring of heart rate and body temperature. This study aims to simplify the monitoring process using the internet of things concept by utilizing a heart rate sensor, pulse sensor, and body temperature DS18B20, which is processed using an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller connected to the internet network using the SIM900A module and every data is monitored through the Thingspeak platform. The results of the error presentation between the DS18B20 and a digital thermometer are 0.15% for the production of the pulse sensor and pulse oximeter error of 10.6%. The average delay of the SIM900A module sending data to the Thingspeak platform is 27 seconds. Keyword : : pulse sensor, sensor ds18b20 , neo 6-m, sim900a, qos (quality of service)
