Abstract

The development of the digital era makes it easier for people to communicate using both audio and face-to-face interaction via video conferencing. Video conference communication with more than one person is expected to be a safe and convenient communication medium and the DMVPN network is one solution. Dynamic Multipoint VPN (DMVPN) enables an encrypted dynamic tunneling network that allows to communicate with multiple hosts at once. DMVPN is a tunneling network concept that allows a network to combine several protocols simultaneously such as the Multipoint GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation) NHRP (Next Hop Resolution Protocol) protocol, Routing Protocol (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and others), and IPsec (Security). Internet Protocol). This study aims to analyze the DMVPN network in phase 1 which is integrated with the EIGRP routing protocol to obtain Quality of Service parameter values such as throughput, jitter, delay, and packet loss that will be passed by the Video conference service. Jitsimeet is a video conference service application software that runs using a web browser. The test is in the condition that the background traffic load is 0mbps, 1mbps, 5mbps, 10mbps, 50mbps, 100mbps, and 150mbps. The test results show that there are no packets lost or the value of packet loss is 0%. The largest throughput value in the study was 1585.17 Bit/s and the smallest was 1574.86 Bit/s. The average value of the largest jitter is 6.350 X 10-4 ms and the smallest is 5.997 X 10-4 ms. The average value of the largest delay in this study is 6.350 X 10-4 ms with a value of 5.824 X 10-4 ms.
