Abstract

Garbage is made of organic and inorganic materials that are no longer used and can damage the environment. The increase in population and the increase in the amount of waste are not accompanied by changes in people's lifestyles. So far, many people throw garbage carelessly or inappropriately. This is because in the garbage disposal process, you must first open and close the trash can with dirty and smelly conditions. Smart waste based on the Internet of Things (IoT) can produce tools as an alternative technology, so that all community activities can handle waste more easily and quickly without littering. The working system of all ultrasonic sensors can be used to control the capacity of the garbage and can detect objects when approaching the trash can, the loadcell sensor is used to detect the garbage load in the trash can, and the NodeMCU is used as the processor input. And will get a notification when the trash can is full through the website. From the results of testing the design of this system, it produces an average error value in the Load Cell of the organic waste bin with a success value of 98.27%, and the inorganic waste bin has a success value of 96.42%.
