Abstract

Now’s technological developments have progressed very rapidly. In the field of telecommunications itself, there are many existing technologies that have developed, especially in the internet sector. The internet can make human work easier at this time, especially after the Internet of Things (IoT) technology, which means the internet includes everything, from homework to industrial activities and urban planning. This IoT technology can also be used to monitor or monitor air conditions automatically and can be controlled easily. By using the Arduino device as a microcontroller which is then connected to the MQ-2 smoke sensor which can detect gases that are pollutant such as LPG, cigarette smoke, butane and others, then after the data is processed it will be connected to the Towerpro Motor Servo SG90 which later used to trigger the Air Diffuser to turn on automatically. The results showed that in the three testing variables, the following test results were obtained: the first test, namely testing the air quality in the room, the smallest average value was found in a room that uses a fan, which is 858.82 PPM (part-permillions). In the second test, namely testing the air quality in a smoke-contaminated room, the smallest average value was found in a room that uses a fan, which is 1301.55 PPM (part-per-millions). In the third test, namely testing the air quality in a smoke-contaminated room, the smallest average value found in a room that uses a fan is 1523 PPM (part-permillions). Keywords: : Technology, Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, automatically
