Abstract

Cornsnake (Pantherophis Guttatus) is a type of non-venom snake from North America that is favored by reptile hobbyists around the world. In order to make it easier for hobbyists to care for and breed cornsnakes, a system called Smart Reptile Enclosure was created. This system consists of a monitoring tool, android application and database using Google Firebase. Some of the embedded features are temperature and humidity detectors, light regulators, and feeders. The success rate obtained from Black box testing on monitoring tools is 90.66%, and the success rate for applications and Firebase is 100%. The accuracy of the DHT22 sensor on this device is 99.2% for temperature and 99.26% for humidity. Calculation results of quality of service in the form of Throughput 1.66 Kbps which is a bad category on TIPHON, Delay is 59.40 and is a perfect category on TIPHON Key word: Microcontroller, ESP8266, Cornsnake, temperature, humidity.
