Abstract

Dynamic website services are still one of the services that are often used by many people. that within 24 hours, many visitors access the website that provides the information they need, there are also illegal people or users who visit the website to steal information from the website. Therefore, prevention is needed by creating a security system that can minimize data theft and attacks from illegal users. In implementing dynamic web services, you can use Docker Container-based virtualization methods, using Docker Containers. the resources used to build a dynamic web become more efficient and efficient. This study uses the application of Unified Threat Management (UTM) on the Docker server to serve as a firewall with the zone rule method. The methodology used for this research is using the Waterfall method, namely in this study there are requirements, design, implementation, verification as stages of the implementation of this research. The types of attacks that will be tested in this study are attacks related to the availability level of dynamic web such as port scanning, SQL Injection, and syn flood. The test is carried out in two scenarios, namely when UTM is active and UTM is not active and then continues by measuring the response time to the client when communicating with the server when the server is attacked. The results achieved by the design of UTM as a security system in Docker Container is able to protect dynamic web services on Docker from attacks that will be tested such as port scanning, SQL injection and syn flood. And the effect of implementing UTM on the client is that it can maintain the level of server availability based on the response time obtained from measurements when the server is attacked by the attacker. Keywords: Docker Container, dynamic website, UTM, Firewall, Port Scanning, SQL Injection, syn flood
