Abstract
Based on research conducted on the Tambakan Jogonalan KLT721 site, there is a network quality that has Bad coverage. After the case has been carried out, CELL Overshooting is one of the problems that often occur in several sites located in areas with high serving contributions. The condition of the 4G LTE network at the Jogonalan KLT721 site in the Klaten area has poor quality due to overshooting caused by the declining contours of the earth and a lot of height because it is in a mountainous area. Furthermore, measurements were made on the existing site with the drive test method to obtain a sample of the distribution signal quality before and before optimization. From the measurement results of the existing site, an optimization simulation using Atoll software will be carried out to see the effect of physical settings after optimization of the existing site through simulation using Atoll. Optimization is carried out using the Physical tunning method by performing Mechanical Downtilt antennas to overcome the problem of Overshooting on neighboring sites. This final Project research aims to determine the network performance of Telkomsel operators and the quality of coverage obtained after optimizing the KLT721 Tambakan Jogonalan site in the Klaten area. In the Final Project, measurements were made after optimization with physical settings were then compared with the results of optimization simulations with physical adjustments using Atoll software. The percentage gain after optimization is obtained. The RSRP value shows an increase from 69,66% to 87,26% with an increase of 17,6%, so it has met the standard RSRP value of Telkomsel operator KPI, which is 80% above -100 dBm. Meanwhile, the SINR value has increased from 69,51% to 96,1%, so it has met the KPI standard for Telkomsel operators, which is 80% above -0 dBm. Keywords: RSRP, SINR, Overshooting CELL, Physical tunning
