Abstract

Radio is a signal transmission technology with modulation and electromagnetic radiation (electromagnetic waves), one of the applications of radio technology is used as a remote control tool. In its application, radio communication often causes interference due to the presence of unwanted radio frequency signals that interfere with signal reception. With the interference that occurs in radio communication, this study will apply the frequency channel contained in the nRF24L01+ module which can prevent interference by addressing the communication channel and also testing the range of the nRF24L01+ module in sending information signals. The test results for the nRF24L01+ communication module are distinguished by using channel 1 with a working frequency of 2400Mhz and channel 2 with a working frequency of 2401Mhz to communicate between modules. For the communication distance between modules in Line Of Sight conditions with a PA power output of 0dBm, a maximum distance of 74.10 m is obtained with a data rate of 250Kbps, while for a power output of -18dBm, a maximum distance of 24.79 m is obtained with a data rate of 250Kbps. In Non Line Of Sight conditions with a PA power output of 0dBm, a maximum distance of 40.57 m is obtained with a data rate of 250Kbps, while for a power output of -18dBm, a maximum distance of 11.8 m is obtained with a data rate of 250Kbps.
