Abstract

Public Street Lighting (PSL) is a light source installed on the side of the road, which is lit at night and turned off by morning. Traffic accidents and waste of electrical energy in PSL often occur due to ineffective monitoring and control systems of Public Street Lighting. therefore it’s important to monitoring dan control automatic systems remotely to monitor the use of electric energy and monitor the condition of PSL lamps using lora communication and ACS712 5A sensors to read current, power and electical energy. Based on the test results showed that the accuracy of the sensor ACS712 5A obtained an average accuracy value of 97.43%. QoS test results on the success rate parameter distance of 100 meters obtained an average value of 99.2%, a distance of 200 meters by 99.6%, and a distance of 300 meters by 99%. Based on the data results, the throughpu value with a size of 40 Bytes is 128 bps and a delay value with a size of 40 Bytes is 2500 ms. The larger the package size, the higher the throughput and delay values generated. The maximum distance test result on LoRa communication is at a distance of 13.8 km.
