Abstract

The peace and comfort when learning activities in classrooms is the desire for teachers or students who seriously want to gain knowledge on the lecture bench. But not all the students in attending lectures or studying in the campus with calm and serious. There must be a chat, joke joke with friends that resulted in the condition of the classroom became noisy and not conducive. make serious student to follow the course material and lecturers become distracted and annoyed. In this thesis the author to create a design system noise detection using sensor-based internet of things. This design is made to overcome the problem of noise in the classrooms observed by the author. In the design of this tool is the author using the NodeMCU as a hardware device or a microcontroller. As well as using the sensor microphone as sound detection, and a buzzer as output a warning when the sound sensor detects noise. The Buzzer will sound as alarm when the sensor mic captures sound which exceeds the tolerance limit. And the overall design can be in control through smartophone by using wifi technology as a local host. With him on the design of this thesis, the writer hopes the noise and noise in the classroom can be more resolved, so that students who want to study in college seriously can concentrate more and get the desired value.
