Abstract
Education is a secondary need, education still has a very important meaning, because without human education it will be difficult to develop. Thus, education must be directed to produce quality human beings who have competitive competence, and must have good character and morals. The existence of Higher Education (PT) in the midst of society is actually a matter of pride. And PT is an optional final stage of formal education. Competition between universities in attracting new students is getting tougher. Each college carries out various promotional programs and offers visible criteria for prospective students. College selection is a difficult process in determining colleges for prospective new students and can even make mistakes that can lead to regret. So we need a decision support system that has almost accurate accuracy with the aim of helping prospective students in making decisions about choosing a college that will be made on a website. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a method of decision support system, with the main tool is a functional hierarchy with human perception input. The results of the decision-making system using the AHP method produce a ranking of 30 universities which will be compared with 5 criteria, namely college accreditation, study program accreditation, costs, webometric rankings and college clusters, then the system will be tested using the blackbox method with the number of respondents a total of 45 where 44 respondents as users and 1 respondent as admin and the results obtained from a total of 45 respondents stated that the system was running smoothly and according to its function. The existence of a decision-making system using the AHP method which is implemented into a website can make it easier for prospective students to choose a college.
