Abstract

PT Huawei Tech Investment is a Chinese multinational company engaged in network and telecommunications equipment and services with its head office in Shenzhen, Guangdong. PT Huawei Tech Investment is one of the partners of the Independent Learning Program – Merdeka Campus (MBKM) from the Ministry of Education and Culture which offers the Batch 1 MSIB (Certified Internship and Independent Study) program with an activity period starting from September 1, 2021 - January 31, 2022 which was made by Kampus Merdeka. PT. Huawei Tech. Investment offers three independent study topics including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Storage and Datacomm. On the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) it is carried out with a total of 560 lesson hours consisting of Live sessions with Mentors using Google Meet, Self Study through the Huawei platform and Practice Sessions for Research or Project purposes. There are 8 learning modules on AI topics offered by Huawei including AI Overview, Huawei AI Development Framework Mindspor,Huawei AI Computing Platform Atlas, Mainstream Development Frameworks for AI, Deep Learning Overview, Machine Learning Overview, Huawei Open AI Platform for Smart Devices and Huawei Cloud Enterprise Intelligence Application Platform. The goal or purpose of implementing the MSIB with Huawei is for students to take Huawei certification and produce a research or project in groups according to the chosen topic.
