Abstract

The high number of motorbike users in Indonesia currently affects the high number of road accidents, accidents involving motorbikes have also increased, in 2019 it was recorded that the largest contributor to traffic accidents on the road, namely from motorbikes, amounted to 72,338 thousand from the first and second quarters. In Banyumas Regency itself, one of the accidents that was discovered late by the public or the police was categorized based on the time the accident occurred from 2017 - January 2020, totaling 223 incidents. The method used in this study is to use a prototype which has 7 stages, including collecting hardware and software requirements, building prototypes, evaluating prototypes, programming, testing, evaluating, and using the system. From the testing of the tool carried out 50 times by testing without using a motorbike and using a motorbike, the accuracy results are approximately 1-1.5 meters. Incident Accidents that are not recognized by the police or the surrounding community can result in more fatal conditions that can even lead to death due to delayed first aid, so an accident detector can be installed by sending a notification in the form of a traceable GPS.
