Abstract

PT Sukorintex is a company engaged in the textile sector, with the big brand WADIMOR which produces woven sarongs. Production system at PT. Sukorintex is a make to stock and make to order production. One of the divisions in PT. Sukorintex is a Quality Control division that has the task of controlling product quality so that all production activities are always well controlled. This is also done by PT. Sukorintex to achieve the standards set by the company in grade grouping. The problem faced by the company is the lack of quality control, especially in the grouping of grade C and grade D where the defect rate of the sarong is high enough to cause losses for the company. Therefore, an analysis was carried out to find out the root cause of the defect in the sarong and then make suggestions for improvements to overcome these problems.
