Abstract

City of Cilacap Regency uses Serayu River as the main source of drinking water processed by PDAM Tirta Wijaya. This study aims to determine changes in water quality from raw water sources to customer faucets, then compare them with water quality standards. Sampling of water in Serayu River, water treatment installations, and taps for PDAM customers. The results of the analysis are compared with the quality standards of clean and drinking water in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health No.416/Menkes/Per/IX/1990 concerning the Requirements for Clean Water Quality and the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No.492/Menkes/Per/IV/2010 concerning the Requirements. Drinking Water Quality. The results show that the water quality of Serayu River does not meet the requirements to be a source of clean water when viewed from the standard requirements for clean water quality, it is also different from water in processing installations and tap water for PDAM customers. Changes in water quality that are getting better can be seen from raw water sources to customer faucets at each IPA, even though they have met all water quality requirements.
