Abstract

Testing is one of the most important instruments in making software to achieve quality products that meet user expectations. Testing on the software is intended to detect errors, so that the product can be repaired before release to the end user. By doing testing, developers can measure the quality of the software that is made to create a good user experience and adopt an easy navigation system. One example of testing is the testing carried out in the development of the "Midwife Management Information System", which is one of the projects created by the Jenderal Corp. company. Jenderal Corp is a company engaged in software and web development as well as IT consulting located in Purwokerto. Testing is done by interviewing and discussing with developers, then also with information from libraries on the internet. The testing done is usability testing. Testing should be done with a thorough and continuous activity throughout the development process. This is done so that developers can detect errors that occur in the information system that is created and fix them immediately. The conclusions obtained from testing the "Midwife Management Information System", namely: developers make it easier to fix errors that occur, the project is completed more quickly in its development, and overall, errors that occur are small but important mistakes. Then the suggestions are given, namely: in the explanation of the errors that occur, it is suggested to make it easier to deliver, so that the developer understands better what the constraints are, then in testing the next project, it is hoped that they can better understand the types of testing
