Abstract

The development of Information Technology now has an important role for the needs of users in the world. One trend that is even widespread in this internet network is as a medium of information called a website. Millions of users in the internet world can access the website for various needs, especially for companies that use the website to promote their products to the wider community. In fact, some are only used to access the required information data. Website or so-called homepage is a collection of pages that display various kinds of data information provided in the form of images, text, sound, illustrations or all related data sets. Polresta Banyumas is a service to the community in terms of protection, providing protection, security and order and enforcing the law. However, the information system, one of which is the Banyumas Police website, is still minimal in terms of the information provided to the public. So it is necessary to prepare a report on field work practices to analyze the needs and utilization of the Banyumas Police website. It is hoped that the preparation of this report can facilitate and develop future information that is in accordance with the objectives set by the Banyumas Police. The preparation of this report uses the Heuristic Evaluation method to analyze the web under study and there are methods of data collection in the literature and direct observation during the Field Work Practice. The results of the analysis on the website still show that the media information system website at the Banyumas Police has not been fully filled, in terms of the value of clarity and updates on the website, maintenance is needed on the design and information on the website.
