Abstract

The Department of Transportation is an agency or element that is engaged in the implementation of regional autonomy that carries out regional government affairs and is responsible for carrying out main tasks in the field of land transportation, sea transportation based on the principle of autonomy. The facility testing unit has an important role in carrying out land transportation activities, especially vehicle testing such as Buses, Trucks, and Pick Ups. Therefore, effective and efficient service is needed to facilitate customers. The main focus in this report is related to the planning of the user interface (UI) model for the android application monitoring vehicle testing carried out by the Motor Vehicle Periodic Test Implementing Unit. The method of writing reports is done by direct observation by observing service activities in the field of testing facilities. The User Centered Design (UCD) method will produce a user interface design for an android application for monitoring motor vehicle testing which can provide an android application design for monitoring vehicle testing in order to provide information services for drivers as customers.
