Abstract

Measurement of user readiness of the Village Administration Management Information System (SMARD) Using the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) Method The Village Administration Management Information System (SMARD) is a technology used to help carry out village administration services in Kedungwuluh Village. The purpose of implementing SMARD is to help the community and the government to access needs in the form of correspondence, and the village is able to independently manage population data. Myron (2009) revealed that the successful implementation or successful adoption of new technology, especially information and communication technology in an organization is largely determined by the readiness of human resources [1]. Through the statement that project failure can be caused by a low level of readiness. User readiness is the most dominant aspect so that it can affect the successful implementation of information systems. Similar to SMARD, in order for implementation to run smoothly it requires good user readiness. One method to measure the readiness of technology users is to use the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) method. Parasuraman (2000) suggests that technical preparation or level of preparation refers to a person's tendency to use and use new technology to achieve his goals in everyday life and the world of work. , Insecurity[1]. The initial stage in this research is to design a questionnaire. Questionnaires were distributed to all Kedungwuluh Village employees, totaling 15 people. After the questionnaires are distributed and the data has been obtained, then the next step is to test the instrument with the SPSS application. After passing the instrument test, the next step is to analyze the data to calculate the level of user readiness.
