Abstract

The internet network that has not been spread evenly can cause some elementary schools in the Gumelar, Sumbang and Cilongok areas to have difficulty accessing the internet. PT Telkom Indonesia is a business entity engaged in information and communication technology services and Indonesian telecommunications networks. In this case, PT Telkom Witel Purwokerto is trying to install the Indihome network at that location. Prior to installation, distance data from the nearest ODP (Optical Distribution Point) is required. The maximum distance from the location with ODP is 300 meters. To measure the distance, you can use the SIIS (Sales Indihome Information System) website. After the writer measured the distance for the elementary schools in Gumelar, Sumbang and Cilongok, it was found that 17 elementary schools could be reached by ODP (Optical Distribution Point) from 52 elementary schools.
