Abstract

Higher education has now become a new paradigm in the orientation of competition, which is not only at the national level but has shifted to competition between universities globally, both public universities and private universities. Having the ability to adapt and capture all changes from the environment, the role of information technology in private universities must be able to maintain the continuity of the vision and mission as a determining factor for progress and success. Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto is a private university located in Purwokerto, Banyumas, Central Java. IT Telkom Purwokerto was founded in 2002 which is the only Institute that focuses on the application of information and communication technology in the development of knowledge in the fields of Healthcare, Agro-industry, Tourism, and Small Medium Enterprise. Information obtained after conducting an interview with the Head of the IT Internal Audit Unit explained that one of the obstacles to unit activities was carrying out a management contract which took a long time from preparation to the final report. Making an information system on internal audit is needed as a storage of the results of digitizing documents that can support the use of information technology by doing some design first. Information system development is based on being designed using the Software Requirements Specification Document (SKPL) as a reference document that has been made, after that it is continued with the Software Description Document (DPPL) as an information system development plan in the IT Telkom Purwokerto Internal Audit Unit in order to assist manage data and information related to management contracts at IT Telkom Purwokerto in a computerized manner Keywords: Internal Audit, DPPL, ITTP, Information System
