Abstract

Equitable distribution of the internet network that has not been spread evenly to remote areas has caused public elementary schools in some areas to have difficulty accessing the internet. Public elementary schools in the Lumbir, Banyumas and Sumbang areas are schools that still have difficulty accessing the internet, so schools in these areas often experience problems when uploading data. PT Telkom Witel Purwokerto is a company engaged in telecommunications network services in Indonesia. As a telecommunications company in Indonesia, PT. Telkom Witel Purwokerto is trying to install the Indihome network at public elementary schools that have internet network difficulties. The initial stage carried out by PT Telkom Witel Purwokerto is to calculate the distance of the State Elementary School with the nearest ODP (Optical Distribution Point) using a website-based application called SIIS (Sales Indihome Information System) which aims to determine the distance of the Public Elementary School to the ODP (Optical Distribution Point). no more than 300 m. The results obtained after taking measurements using SIIS (Sales Indihome Information System), in the Lumbir area there are only 2 public elementary schools that can be installed by the Indihome network or 7% of the total 28 public elementary schools, in the Banyumas area there are only 3 public elementary schools that can be installed by the Indihome network or 16.6% of the total 18 public elementary schools, while in the Contributing area there are 8 public elementary schools that can be installed with the Indihome network or 50% of the total 16 public elementary schools.
