Abstract

i ABSTRACT Muhammad Al-Balighi Yuridhol Furqon, Simulate IP Transit product at PT.Telkom West Jakarta by using packet tracer. Business service division (DBS) is one of the existing work units in PT.Telkom West Jakarta where in this unit we make a product that will be in commercial to the customer. Telkom IP Transit is a global traffic internet interconnection service with BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) Internet route rolling feature and uses IP block and AS (Autonomos System) number of customer. This service provides a guarantee of 1: 1 bandwidth ratio up to upstream provider of Telkom. The data collection method used to collect, study and use the theory used in preparing this practical work report through reference books, articles, journals and other related sources, discussions with field supervisors and academics both technically and non-technical. Field Work Practice is done using Packet Tracer where this software can simulate a network or make IP Transit product at PT.Telkom West Jakarta. This simulation is made to provide manfaar for business in the field of business to obtain revenue achievement in PT.Telkom West Jakarta. Keywords: IP Transit and Packet Tracer
