Abstract

At this time it turns out that Virtual Machines (VM) are very effective in use in the world of work. Especially those related to computers. Because one of the goals of Virtual Machines (VM) is reducing operational costs. What is meant by reducing operational costs is, if using a computer device, the need for computer equipment is very large, and the place to place the computer must also be wide, whereas if using a Virtual Machine (VM), then only one computer is needed to be able to operate many computers. virtual or called Virtual Machine (VM). The storage base for this Virtual Machine (VM), is by using a database. One of the drawbacks of a Virtual Machine (VM) is that if the CPU and Memory are high, then if it is not handled quickly it can cause the server to go down (the server cannot be operated) or there is a server that can be hung or cannot be operated. However, before it goes down, there is usually an alert. (reminder) in the form of text so that the server is immediately checked. The solution is to increase (enlarge) the capacity of the CPU and Memory itself. In addition to CPU and Memory, which must be considered again there is a disk. If the disk is full, it can cause the server to be hung (unoperable). Same with CPU and Memory, if there is an increase on the disk, an alert will appear. The solution is with Housekeeping (HK) or by adding disk capacity. Housekeeping (HK) is deleting files that are no longer in use. These files are in the file system. Before doing housekeeping, it will be checked first which file system makes the disk up and if it is not used then the file system will be permanently deleted or moved to the file system Keywords: Manage Operation Virtual Machine
