Abstract

Technological development are growing rapidly, especially in telecommunications technology. This technology has an important role today, because it is used to communicate. BTS (Base Transceiver Station) is a wireless telecommunications infrastructure between communication devices and network operators. BTS signal receiving communication devices can be telephones, cell phones, and wireless networks. For today's communication, the need for fast data access and network signal is a very desirable requirement. So that the network signal can reach every customer who needs it by using BTS (Base Transceiver Station). The purpose of handling disturbances at Site BJN018 is so that operator customers can reuse telecommunication network services smoothly. This report contains how to handle disturbances at the BJN018 Bawang Site and how to find out if operator services are running normally again. The BTS (Base Transceiver Station) disturbance handling process is carried out at the BJN018 Bawang Site. The process of handling BTS (Base Transceiver Station) disturbances is carriedout at the BJN018 Bawang Site. Handling is done by checking attenuation and checkingthe end point using a VFL (Visual Fault Locator) used in the OTB (Optical Terminal Box) cable line. After the repair it is hoped that no service will be lost. If there is a problem with the network service, it will be corrected immediately so that the operator'scustomers can use the service again as needed. Keywords : Site BJN018 Bawang, loss, BTS
